Go hug your sibling, if you have one
That’s what I did, this morning, prompted by the news that Joseph Gordon-Levitt just lost his brother.
It reminded me how wonderful it is to have Sabine as my sister, and how dreadful it would be if I lost her. So I figured I should make sure, right then, that she knew.
It’s a joy and an honor to have her in my life.
If you have a sibling you care for, maybe you should go express your appreciation, while you still can…

Thanks for the hug. I’ll try not to get lost. You, either!

Oh, wow. I didn’t see this picture on my RSS reader. LOL! Trigger was a good horsie!

That’s my favorite picture of us!

Good to hear that neither one of you will be getting lost! What I want to know is who was supposed to be keeping track of Trigger . . . .

Ah, one couldn’t keep track of a horse like Trigger. He was wild at heart, and only came to you when you called because that’s what he wanted to do.
Left to his own devices, he would tend to return to the high plains and canyons of the Wild West. As I haven’t seen him lately, I assume that’s where he is right now.

I would go hug my siblings, but they tend to get paranoid when I do. I guess that’s what we get for being so close to each other.
I’ll have to find a different way to show my affection that won’t raise any suspicion.

Hm. Flowers? Fruit of the month subscription? Kobe steaks shipped directly from Japan in custom coolers?
Ooh! Scan your favorite picture of you with them, and email it to them. This involves no physical contact whatsoever. Plus, if you have no other message at all, they’ll automatically start thinking about the time the photo was taken, and musing on your relationship with them. If it was a happy time, they’ll think happy thoughts.
