One thing I like to do is turn on the NASA channel, and turn the sound off…
Whenever they don’t have anything to broadcast, they just turn on the ISS outside cameras! So lovely.
Yes, I won’t be there myself, but I’m willing to take astronaut Shannon Walker as my surrogate (that’s her in the cupola photo). I’ll imagine that’s me! (And that I’m that young. And that pretty.)
My previous surrogate was another Shannon — Shannon Lucid, who went on the Mir space station when she was in her fifties!
See? It’s not too late for us!
Plus: some day I’ll be able to afford Adult Space Camp….
Paperback versions of the Steerswoman series now available

Aren’t those some amazing shots? That one seems to be everyone’s favourite. (It reminds me of Stargate SG-1 :).)

Sean —
For any girl who wanted to be an astronaut, that one can’t be beat.

I think you stand there and look at that view all day. I love to shots he took of the earth at night with the cities all lit up.
Makes me a little sad that I’ll never go there and see it for myself.
